An organization is only as strong as those members who support its goals. Through the efforts of our committees, we continue to serve our membership and enhance an environment of professional development.

Justin Gillette, Chair

The Communications Committee handles all internal and external communications for the chapter, including advising members of upcoming meetings and other important information, and supervising public relations activities subject to the approval of the board of directors.

MN RIMS's Community Service Committee is charged with developing programs and events in which members may participate to give back to our communities and supporting those in need.

We give back to the community during two events by making sandwiches for Simpson Housing. Simpson Housing’s mission is to house, support and advocate for people experiencing homelessness. Simpson Housing’s goals are to end homelessness one household at a time and address the deeper issues that contribute to homelessness for those they serve. MN RIMS contribution helps support the more than 3,000 people annually that are using Simpson services.

The Education Committee is responsible for developing topics, speakers and programs for professional development opportunities offered by the chapter, both at meetings and at the annual seminar.

Responsible for planning MN RIMS's annual golf outing which generates revenue to help support the chapter's activities, and offers networking opportunities in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

The Minnesota RIMS Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining and developing our member base through ongoing and special activities targeting to reaching risk management professionals from throughout the state.

Melissa Cudzillo, Chair

The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying members to serve on the chapter's board of directors, and presenting these nominees to the board each year

The Minnesota RIMS Programs Committee develops topics and content presented to members at our meetings and the annual Seminar. The Programs Committee Mission is to advance the risk management profession through networking, education and professional development by organizing monthly programs with topics that are of interest to our members.

Jessica Yost, Chair

The Seminar Committee oversees the scheduling and development of Minnesota RIMS's yearly Seminar, a day-long event that brings together risk managers from throughout the state.

The seminar includes keynote speakers, breakout sessions on topics of importance to the profession and networking opportunities.
