2023 President's Message

Saskatchewan, "The Land of Living Skies", well known for its amazing sunrises and sunsets, is home to this exciting RIMS chapter. SKRIMS is committed to continuing to offer networking opportunities and provide educational content for our members.

2022 was a very exciting year for SKRIMS as we celebrated our 40th anniversary as a Chapter and we got to meet in person for the first time in almost 3 years.  We continued to host a variety of events to meet our members needs.  We held 6 virtual Lunch and Learns, 1 virtual social event (wine tasting), 2 in person chapter meetings and the 2nd annual SKRIMS Golf Day at Elbow Golf and Country Club.

SKRIMS is pleased to continue to provide an exciting line up of virtual monthly Lunch and Learn presentations this year, the annual golf day and two in person meetings - the AGM in May/June in Saskatoon and the Holiday Social in November in Regina.

SKRIMS has just launched its Mentoring Program that was announced last fall.  Thank you to everyone who signed up as a mentor or mentee.

At the December Holiday Event, I was pleased to announce a NEW Contest for 2023 open to all SKRIMS members residing in Saskatchewan.

  • You could WIN a RIMS Canada Conference Registration and Hotel expenses up to $2,000!
  • For every SKRIMS event that you attend between January 2023 and the AGM in May/June 2023, eligible SKRIMS members will receive an entry to the draw for the contest.
