Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance for AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, a leading provider of financial protection and wealth management services in the U.S. and a member of the global AXA Group.
I am responsible for insurance and risk management programs that protect AXA Equitable’s human, financial and physical assets. Programs include property, casualty, D&O, E&O and fidelity, I also identifiy risk transfer opportunities and manage insurance requirements for the corporation’s mortgage lending portfolio.
Previously, I served as Risk Manager for The MONY Group, which was acquired by AXA Financial in 2004. As risk manager, I was responsible for the placement of insurance and loss control initiatives as well as the integration of MONY into AXA Equitable’s insurance program. I also had overall responsibility for the company’s Business Continuity Plan. I joined MONY in 2000 and was promoted to Risk Manager in 2001. I began his insurance career at AON Risk Services as an account manager in their Casualty Division.
I hold a B.S in Marketing from St. John’s University and earned my Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from The Insurance Institute of America. I am the Immediate President of The New York Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and have served on the Board of Directors for several years.
