Brian is currently the Director - Risk Analysis in Microsoft Corporation's Treasury Risk Group. He oversees quantitative analysis and risk modeling, risk information systems and risk-related accounting policies and processes. He started at Microsoft in 1996 as a risk analyst. Prior to Microsoft, Brian worked for nine years with Allstate Insurance Company's Seattle regional office, mostly as a lead financial analyst. He served four years in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer, and sixteen years in the Army Reserve as a civil affairs officer. He is a graduate of Princeton University.
Brian and his wife, Pam, live in Everett, Washington, and are originally from Portland, Oregon.
