Misti is the Senior Risk Manager, Global Risk Management, for International Paper, one of the world’s leading producers of fiber-based packaging and pulp. In her role, she is responsible for the oversight of many of the company’s global insurance programs, captive insurance programs risk management initiatives. Misti is based in Memphis, Tennessee at the company’s world headquarters.
Misti is active in various industry associations, including RIMS where she serves as President for the RIMS Memphis Chapter and participates on the global Member and Chapter Engagement Committee. She is a current Board Member for the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association. In addition to her various insurance industry roles, Misti volunteers her time with various charitable organizations in the Mid-South.
Prior to joining International Paper, Misti progressed through corporate treasury and risk management roles at AutoZone and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. She earned a Bachelors in Business Administration with focus on Treasury & Banking Management from the University of Central Arkansas and holds the Associate in Risk Management designation.
