The purpose of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council is to advise and support the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) throughout the Society.

The Council shall assume the following duties and responsibilities for operating year 2023.

Identify opportunities for the organization to engage and collaborate with minority industry groups and universities on RIMS DEI initiatives.
Provide support to RIMS Chapters enhance DEI programs to identify and develop diverse chapter engagement.
Promote RIMS mentorship program to attract young risk professionals, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and other diverse members.
Assist in session selection process to ensure DEI sessions are relevant at RIMS conferences and events.
