Although the final impact of many of these events may be a generation away, todays risk management professionals need to address this future now in order to help their organization respond to the changing environments. Jerilyn Kelly, Ed. D
Jerilyn is Vice President, Carrier Practice for Gallagher Bassett where she is responsible for national sales, marketing, and strategic key account management with a market focus on risk management, alternative risk, and insurance carrier related opportunities. Jerilyn has broad industry experience in the Healthcare, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and public entities sectors. Although Jerilyn has an extensive background highlighted by many successes, one significant career highlight was her partnership with Fairfax County Government in their development of an Injured Worker Employee wellness program that assisted in identifying and providing clinical intervention towards mental wellness. This program was one of the multiple innovative programs for Fairfax County, Virginia that lead to them being awarded 2023 Workers’ Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence and was also a cornerstone for Jerilyn’s Doctoral thesis.
Ryan W. Duffy
Ryan is the President for Lockton in the Greater Washington DC Region and a Partner of the firm. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for Lockton Northeast. Today, Lockton Northeast has operations in Boston, Hartford, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and McLean, Virginia with over 750 associates and $350m in revenue. The Greater Washington DC Region comprises 200 associates and nearly $100m of those figures. Ryan has worked extensively with dozens of global public and private companies in addressing sophisticated enterprise risk strategies. He is well-versed in D&O liability, cyber, professional liability, and mergers and acquisitions. He has significant expertise with Private Equity, Technology, Government Contracting, Life Sciences and other industries.
Rich Ffrench
Rich is the Assistant Vice President, Senior Account Manager for FM and has over 20 years of management experience in risk engineering, insurance, and strategic risk management, where he led teams to achieve greater levels of success by challenging the team and the status quo. Rich has a passion for improving organizations/communities results through a strategic approach focused on stakeholder's needs, effective use of technology to improve process, inspire innovative thinking by challenging common norms, and leverage the power of diverse teams. Rich has broad experience in providing engineering leadership and innovation in technical solutions in the Forest Products, Power Generation, Chemical, High Tech, Mining and Metallurgy industries.
