NJ RIMS November Meeting

Program Description

NJ RIMS is putting together a first-ever, pilot meeting for risk managers only to come together and share best practices & projects, discuss current pain points & brainstorm potential solutions, air grievances about recent renewals, benchmark, and network. In place of our normal speaker line-up, this session will feature a round-table style discussion between risk managers from unique industries and organizations of all sizes. The goal of this style of meeting is to share risk management success stories that we can bring back to & implement at our own organizations, and to discuss existing challenges that other risk managers may have experienced and successfully solved in the past.

SOME POSSIBLE TOPICS FOR THE DISCUSSION:

• Automation in the risk management function: property values collection, data analysis, RMIS solutions, etc.
• Risk transfer options e.g. Parametric, Captives, etc.
• Auto liability risk management: employee driver monitoring programs and other initiatives to control rising premiums
• Third-party haul exposure: managing risks associated with using transportation carriers; contract best practices
• C-Suite discussion: how do you ensure risk management is represented and valued by the executive leadership?
