Vannessa Stuckey and Mark Lopes, with CAC Specialty, will discuss the realities of how cyber incidents truly unfold once a company is impacted.  We will take a closer look at the timelines, impacts, and the various security investments often made by companies and compare them to their impacts before and during an incident.  We will discuss how minor, typical, and severe incidents play out in real life and the various ways systems are impacted and costs can mount.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the interplay between security, operations and risk management during a cyber incident
  • Describe typical loss cost concentrations as compared to most corporate cybersecurity investments
  • Discuss strategies to help maximize prevention while properly investing in response and recovery
