The Manager of Workers Compensation controls and directs the Temple University Health Systems (TUHS) Worker's Compensation Program. This includes the investigation into worker's compensation claims, developing and conducting training programs, processing of claims, evaluation and implementation of programs and other functions aimed at reducing the overall costs and assuring the efficient operation of the program for TUHS. They are responsible for reducing costs as possible, interaction with stakeholders, and education of new and existing employees.

 

Minimum requirements to be considered:

  • 10 years’ experience in the administration and management of worker's compensation programs.
  • General experience and knowledge of Claims Management and HRIS Systems.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)

 Preferences

  • Certification and/or training pertaining to Workers Compensation, e.g., Workers Compensation Claims Certification (WCCC), Registered Workers' Compensation Specialist (RWCS), Certified Workers' Compensation Professional (CWCP).
  • Experience with Workers Compensation rules and legislation in the State of Pennsylvania.
