Richard Dabney, Vice President of Corporate Underwriting at Texas Mutual Insurance Company, has 31 years of experience underwriting and managing the workers’ compensation line of business. He started his insurance career in Houston in 1990 with a broker that formed one of the first Workers' Comp Safety Groups with the newly formed Texas Workers’ Comp Insurance Fund, which he joined in 1993 as one of the first Underwriters. Since then, Richard has underwritten and managed the workers’ compensation line of business for American Home (AIG), Kemper, Seabright Insurance, American Equity Underwriters, and for the last 18 years, Texas Mutual Insurance Company.
