Alison Ungar, SVP, Global Head of Property Valuation – Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance
Alison is currently the Global Head of Property Valuation at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. She is responsible for the development and oversight of the Global Property Valuation group, a dedicated team of appraisers and valuation experts. The team focuses on creation of proprietary estimation tools and custom consultative analysis to support underwriting of customer insured commercial property value risk. Alison has over 20 years of experience as a commercial real estate valuation and financial services professional. Prior to joining BHSI in 2017, she worked at PwC (consulting), GE Capital and a real estate private equity company, in roles focused on property valuation and analysis. She has a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a State Certified Commercial Real Estate Appraiser and holds a professional certification in Building and Construction.
