SARIMS is proud to present our October Breakfast Education Session on Thursday October 19, 2023 on Risk and Resilience Framework: Integrating ERM and BCM.
This session will provide an overview of risk and resilience frameworks leveraging both Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM). Often these capabilities are siloed within an organization or there is apprehension to embark on developing BCM due to increased administrative burden or perceived lack of value. This session discusses taking a holistic view of an organization’s risk and resiliency capabilities including the integration of various disciplines and alignment to strategic values.
Speaker: Lauren Hooper - NFP
Lauren Hooper is Vice President, Risk Management at NFP’s Complex Risk Solutions Group. Prior to joining NFP, Lauren spent time in another Global Risk Consulting group in the Risk Advisory practice working largely in the oil and gas, forestry, and mining sectors. She has a master’s degree in Global Risk from Johns Hopkins, which focused on all things risk including scenario planning, alternative risk financing, and various risk assessment techniques. At NFP, she focuses on delivering ERM, BCM, and risk management solutions for clients integrated with the broader broking, service, engineering, analytics, and claims team.
