Topic: “The Baltimore Bridge Collapse - Cause, Coverage and Cautionary tails”

Bio: Grant has over 30 years experience working in the Insurance Industry in both the London and Canadian markets.  Grant brings a diverse perspective to risk and insurance. Prior to becoming an Insurance Broker, he worked as an independent loss adjuster in both the Marine and Energy markets, he managed one of the largest firms of international marine surveyors and loss control engineers, and has been involved in countless cause investigations and coverage discussions, both onshore and offshore.

In this presentation, Grant will explore the factors leading up to the catastrophic collision of the MV DALI with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, examine the various coverage issues that may arise and identify those areas where risk managers and insurance professionals should proceed with caution following such an event.
